I was very impressed. Also very professional.
We had an amazing experience with Preferred Mechanical. The entire team - from owner Carl to the technicians to the office staff - all provide a high level of professionalism, customer service, friendliness, and product knowledge. Our 1957 Florida ranch home has an extremely tight attic space and over the years our duct work had been crushed and misplaced by electricians and cable workers. Between the ductwork mess and our heat pump reaching end of life, our AC was barely hobbling along. We expected we needed a new heat pump, but their level of service took it to a whole new level. They identified the duct and vent problems that were hindering the efficiency of our HVAC system. Our PM team went above and beyond to repair, replace, and properly suspend our ducts so we would not have this issue ever again regardless of who ends up in our attic! They expanded capacity of existing vents and added new ones, installed an entirely new heat pump, new thermostat, new HALO UV light, new condensation drain pipe, and caustically sealed all connection points (who does this?!!). AND as if all of that weren't enough they took it upon themselves to lay a plywood catwalk (more like a cat crawl) in the attic to keep future workers from damaging the ducts again. They left our home, garage, lanai, and yard impeccably clean.
